The Phakalane Data Centre was established in 2008 when our existing customers for IBM & Dell hardware solutions started looking at Disaster Recovery Services and Business Continuity. This was often a result of compliance and audit policies that required dedicated off-site DR solutions.
We set up the Phakalane Data Centre as a way of delivering these services using our deep knowledge of customers' IT infrastructure. These offerings have been expanded into Cloud Services and Hosting Services for production environments.
Our facility is purpose-built — not an office conversion — with a solid reinforced concrete shell, raised flooring, and redundant systems across power, cooling, and connectivity. We are the only facility in Botswana offering Tier 3 standards with 2(N+1) redundancy.
